Isle Mull and Trenish Isles Workshop 9th May-16th-2015

Having returned from the Isle of Uist this week (July 14) with students taking some great images with a full on tution week to assist and improve there photography skills, I am now planning a trip to the Isle Mull and the Trenish Isles for 2015. Wildlife is abundant on the Isle Mull with a trip also incorporated to the Trenish Isles to capture the many puffins that will be located on the island this time of the year. Accommodation will be a self contained cottage set within tranquil surroundings on Mull literally 200 yards from the sea loch. Detailed instructions will be available within the next month, if you are interested please e-mail for further information.

Write up of the North UIst trip from one of the course members July 2014.

North Uist with Countryfieldimages

I have recently had the pleasure of my first week away on holiday for 9 years and when the opportunity presented itself to go to the remote Scottish island of North Uist, to attend a weeks course with Alan Ward of Country Field Images, it seemed like the perfect break. The subject matter was not the norm for me and so I had a steep learning curve learning about the different aspect of light etc. Below I have posted just a handful of images form the large number I took. Quite a few have been discarded but....these are a few from the week that I hope you enjoy. Many thanks to Alan Ward for making a huge difference to my random efforts of the past. I hope I can remember the many lessons learned and look forward to May when it is hoped that there will be another week with Countryfieldimages Alan-Ward. If anyone wishes to develop their camera skills, I can thoroughly recommend a week away with good, company, stunning location and loads of opportunities to learn new skills. Many thanks to you Alan for a great week. A long drive but well worth it, looking forward to May 2015 and for anyone else who is interested, get in touch with Countryfieldimages Alan-Ward for further information about May 2015.
